Kit kats are an acceptable preference. All of the great chocolates are practically in a class of their own, removed from the rest of candy-kind.

I wouldn't be surprised. It's not that widespread across the world, and they're primarily sold around Easter. If you stick around long enough for that other chocolate and candy-based holiday, then you'll get to experience it for yourself.
