[The door opens and Yukiko's there, beaming brightly and waving Sakura inside. Al Capug is sitting on the couch, and there's already a selection of stuff all over the counters.]

Thank you for coming, Sakura-chan.

[Al looks up, casually inspecting the newcomer.]

I've managed to shoo Eleanor out for the day, so it's just you and me, and Al.

[Sakura will wiggle her fingers into a greeting aimed at Al while she puts her tote down somewhere safe, and then zooms for the counters to inspect the goods. Yukiko really went all out here.]

We have enough chocolate to feed an army.

[Which means Sakura will probably eat half of it herself. She smiles over her shoulder]

Okay... But did you not want Eleanor to join us...?

Well.

[She has an answer for that. A very important answer for that.]

That's something I wanted to talk to you about. Because she...asked me out the other day.

And I said yes. So, I wanted her chocolate to be a surprise.

[Yukiko is a little less animated, but her face is bright and happy.]

[She's really only told Akira at this point.]

In that case, we need to make sure these chocolates are amazing.

[Yukiko nods, and gives a favorite kind.

Though the mun doesn't know it.]

I've got a recipe and stuff, I just wanted to have extra hands in the kitchen.

[If there's an apron nearby, Sakura will wrap it over and around her chest and waist.]

How long have you two been dating now?

Oh. Hum. Since her birthday. A couple of weeks now!

Kind of hard to believe, and it feels like a lot longer.

How lucky to have the confession before Valentine's Day...

[This is so romantic, Sakura's gonna swoon on her feet. She doesn't usually get to fawn over her friends and their romances.]

I think so too. It's been...really grand, honestly.

[Just. All of it.]

I'm quite blessed, this year.

[She smiles quietly at her, and then, in a faintly teasing tone:]

Have you two gone on any dates yet?

Or are you saving that for Valentine's Day, too?

Oh, just dinners, that kind of thing.

[Not really? But then they live together so things are different.]

[Sakura probably doesn't realize they live together, but regardless, seems to accept that answer]

Well, in that case, why don't you make her dinner? A homecooked meal to go along with the chocolate?

Well, that was kind of a given. I've got that planned out, too.

[She's very happy that Sakura's suggested it though.]

I was going to do a handmade pizza. I have the dough made, and it's resting. That's not going to be as intensive as the choco, though.

Oh, that's right, Eleanor really loves pizza, doesn't she?

[She might be recalling the first time she met and she nearly spooked the girl into an early grave with talk of Japanese mayo pizzas.]

She does. And I do too, so it seems like a good way to make everyone happy.

[Plus she's made the sauce herself. Which is special.]

And it's different than what I made for her birthday. So that works out!

I've never spent Valentine's Day with anyone so I might be missing some ideas...

No? Well, that's bound to change sometime soon.

[Yukiko starts the cooking as she talks...]

You'll make someone very happy on Valentine's, when it happens.

[Huh. She pauses a moment, likely gathering some of the supplies to her so she can better help Yukiko with the task, but when she speaks again, her tone is musing]

Neh, Yukiko-chan... when did you realize you liked Eleanor?

Mmm?

[Yukiko pauses in stirring something, considering the question.]

I knew on New Years Eve. We were at the shrine and having fun, and things just sort of clicked in my head.

Why do you ask?

Well...

[To be honest, Sakura's not sure herself. It's a question that needs considerable pause before she tries to answer]

I guess I was trying to imagine would it would be like, if I ever felt that way towards someone...

[Yukiko spins and puts a hand on Sakura's shoulder.]

You will know, when it happens. I never thought about it, honestly, it just sort of happened and I knew it was right.

[Patting her friend gently, she grinned.]

Trust me, okay? You're great, and you'll make some boy...or girl?...very happy. When you find the person you like, you'll know.

[jsdasoihf that is a sudden spike of praise she hadn't prepared for, and Sakura mentally buckles under it, bashful and blushing hard as she stares into a bowl]

Well... I mean-- um. I'd like to? One day...

Though until then, you'll have to show me how you make chocolates... I've practiced a few times, but nothing fancy.
